In process organisation, a process map is the analogue of the organisation chart in the organisational structure and provides an overview of a process system.
The guide explains the content of process maps (process diagrams) and the process of their development in 8 phases. It contains all methodical information to create and use such a map for a unit of any hierarchical classification (company, division, department, ...).
The result of the development process consists in the
- Data collection and preparation in several Excel tables and the
- Visualization of the data in several variants of a process map,
- as diagrams from the key business figures revenue/business process, cost/business process and cost coverage ratios of the corporate functions through business process revenues and
- as mind map in 2 aggregation levels.
