StructureThe job is the smallest component of the organisational structure and is at the centre of every organisational design project, together with task analysis, structure formation for the entire organisation and process modelling. In addition, with the top-down-definition of each job, the purpose of the company must be reflected in it by means of objective delegation and task analysis.

The procedure process is divided into the top-down phases

  • Determination of the responsibility profile of the considered derived from that of the superordinate department
  • Compilation of the criteria,
  • Creation of variants,
  • Evaluation of variants, definition of objectives of the jobs,
  • Decision on the job structure.

The results of the procedure process consist of:

  • Objective and responsibility profile of the department under consideration, aligned with the company's purpose.
  • Job structure of the department under consideration, coordinated with its purpose.
  • Definition of the individual job types by defining their objectives and their results- or process-oriented focus.

The whole process is designed as a team effort, which is why great importance is attached to helping to prepare, lead and follow-up on workshops adequately.
