For the task system of marketing, the specific responsibility for 161 typical marketing tasks is defined in a responsibility assignment matrix (RAM). Categories:
- Market research,
- Strategy and concept development,
- Marketing and sales controlling,
- Product policy,
- Pricing policy,
- Communication policy and
- Sales policy
For this purpose, the individual tasks are differentiated by assigning the symbols E (decision, approval, responsibility for results.), A (execution, implementation), M (participation in implementation), I (information right) and K (control). Various notes are stored as cell comments. A check is integrated as to whether the essential responsibility specifications E and A have been made for the individual tasks.
This enables optimization approaches to be determined and information for job descriptions and process modeling can be provided in the extract. For a more detailed description, the guidebook Task Analysis is recommended.
