Based on an example (sales orders for the installation of a district heating connection), this template contains the templates of a user-guided workflow for immediate subsequent use which are required for process control of the realization of sales orders. These are the templates for the process model and the control instruments (process pilot and message system), in which twelve parties involved in the process are merged.

As a basis for the workflow, the business process modeled with the standard software Visio of the MS Office package is included in three modeling levels:

1. An overview of the entire process from the preparatory marketing campaign to the booking of the customer's incoming payment
2. Data sheets for six sub-processes
3. the process flow diagrams for the three sub-processes of customer order realization

The files of the user-led workflow (process pilot and mail system) refer to this.

In the process pilot, an MS Excel form "0405-Prozesspilot.xls", the interfaces of the transfer of responsibility in the process flow are transferred. There the new process status is entered order-related, message files (0405-TM Mail....doc") created in MS-Word via hyperlinks are called up and sent to the next process participant via a mail system such as MS-Outlook, as an impulse for the execution of the tasks incumbent on this process participant according to the process model.

The process pilot is stored in the company network, can be written and/or read by a corresponding access control system and can only be changed by the individual process participants in their cell area.

All these files are formulated according to the specifics of the example. A systematic procedure is attached, with which adjustments of the files for a similar process can be made with little effort.
